Our Core Principle: Your Data Stays on Your Machine
Vietnam AI Law Reporter is a local-first desktop application. All compliance data, AI system inventories, risk classifications, and reports are stored exclusively on your computer. We never collect, transmit, or have access to your compliance data.
What We Do Not Collect
- Your AI system inventory data
- Risk classification results
- Conformity assessment information
- Incident reports or compliance status
- Any content you create within the application
- Usage analytics, telemetry, or crash reports
Website Email Collection
When you access the web demo or download page, we ask for your email address and optionally your name, company, and role. This information is used to:
- Send you the download link and product updates
- Notify you of new versions and security patches
- Communicate founding member pricing (if applicable)
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties. Email is sent through Resend (resend.com), our transactional email provider. You can unsubscribe from product updates at any time by replying to any email or contacting us directly.
Website Data
This website (vietnamailaw.com) is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Standard web server logs may record IP addresses, browser types, and pages visited. We do not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics, or advertising pixels. The web demo runs entirely in your browser and does not transmit your compliance data to our servers.
Data Security
The desktop application encrypts all stored data using AES-256-GCM. Password-based access uses PBKDF2 key derivation with 100,000 iterations. There is no "forgot password" recovery because we never have access to your encryption keys.
Third-Party Services
The desktop application does not connect to any third-party services during normal operation. Optional features that access public regulatory data (published laws and decrees) only download publicly available government documents. No user data is sent in these requests.
The website uses the following services:
- Cloudflare Pages for hosting (no analytics)
- Cloudflare Workers and KV for email gate processing
- Resend for transactional email delivery
- Bunny Fonts for web font delivery (privacy-respecting alternative to Google Fonts)
No Tracking, No Analytics
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any other tracking or analytics service on this website or within the desktop application. There are no tracking cookies. There is no behavioral profiling. We do not build user profiles or sell data to advertisers.
